UWF Notice: UWF to close for projected weather conditions

Due to projected freezing weather conditions this evening and tomorrow morning, all UWF locations will close tonight, Jan. 16 at 9 p.m. This includes all classes, events, campus activities and online courses. Florida Virtual Campus locations remain open at this time.

Due to projected freezing weather conditions this evening and tomorrow morning, all UWF locations will close tonight, Jan. 16 at 9 p.m. This includes all classes, events, campus activities and online courses. Florida Virtual Campus locations remain open at this time.

Normal University operations, including classes, events, campus activities and online courses, will resume on Thursday, Jan. 18.

The Nautilus Market will be open tomorrow, Jan. 17 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Pensacola area is expected to receive freezing rain, sleet and snow along coastal areas this evening and early tomorrow. Temperatures are forecast to fall below freezing. Students, faculty and staff are advised to use their best judgment when traveling during freezing weather conditions.

Faculty and Staff: All essential personnel are expected to report to work. If you are unsure if you are essential personnel, please contact your supervisor.
