UWF Dining Services assists Manna Food Pantry after recent floods

 

UWF Dining Services is assisting Manna Food Pantry (MFP) with replenishing their supplies after the recent storms. The MFP suffered significant damage as a result of the recent flooding in downtown Pensacola. The lower floor of the warehouse flooded, including all offices and client service areas.

Drop boxes will be placed on the UWF Pensacola main campus in the Nautilus Market, as well as Starbucks in the lobby of the John C. Pace Library on Monday, June 25 through Friday, July 6. UWF Dining Services will deliver all collected items to Manna Food Pantry after July 6.

Critical need items

Canned goods:

  • Fruit
  • Tomatoes
  • Assorted Veggies (peas, carrots, mixed vegetables)
  • Soups (broth, cream of chicken, chicken and rice, hearty soups, etc.)

Breakfast Foods:

  • Grits
  • Oatmeal
  • Cereal
