Pen Air Federal Credit Union to present Financial Boot Camp at UWF

The University of West Florida College of Business Executive Mentor Program and Pen Air Federal Credit Union will team up to present the Fall 2016 Financial Boot Camp on Wednesday, Oct. 26.

The free financial education event will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in the College of Business Education Center, Building 76A, Room 102, on the UWF Pensacola Campus. Financial professionals from Pen Air Federal Credit Union will present “You & Your Goals Matter: Budgeting for Life After College,” and “Think About It Differently: Understanding Credit.” The boot camp is open to UWF students, alumni and the public.

The schedule of events is:

• 11 a.m.: Lunch (Free to the first 70 registered participants; RSVP required)
• 11:30 a.m.: Presentations

“Ensuring that college students are educated and prepared before graduating is the motivation behind our financial boot camps,” said Pam Hatt, director of marketing for Pen Air Federal Credit Union. “Partnering with UWF allows us to educate students on topics like understanding credit and budgeting for life after college. We are able to provide real life experiences and tangible examples that will enable them to be more focused on their financial journey.”
