UWF Historic Trust implements admission changes

The University of West Florida Historic Trust announces changes to its admission, effective immediately.

In an effort to streamline operations and better promote all Historic Trust sites in downtown Pensacola, the Historic Pensacola Village ticket will now include admission to the T.T. Wentworth, Jr. Florida State Museum as well as the Hilton-Green Research Room, located on the second floor of Voices of Pensacola presented by Gulf Power. The first floor of Voices of Pensacola is free for all visitors.

Additional sites that will continue to be included in the ticket cost are: Pensacola Children’s Museum; Museum of Commerce; Museum of Industry; Manuel Barrios Cottage; McMillan House; Julee Cottage; Lavalle House; Lear-Rocheblave House; Dorr House; Old Christ Church; Barkley House; and all living history programs.

Guided tours of historic homes and buildings are offered three times daily at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. as part of the admission ticket. Ticketed visitors to Historic Pensacola Village can also participate in a 45-minute walking tour of a portion of the Pensacola Historic District and the Barkley House, which start at the Tivoli High House every Wednesday at 2 p.m.

The T.T. Wentworth, Jr. Florida State Museum, Historic Pensacola Village, Pensacola Children’s Museum and Voices of Pensacola are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission prices are: $6 for adults; $5 for AAA members, active military and dependents, and seniors 65 and older; and $3 for children ages 3 to 14. The tickets are valid for one week and can be purchased at the Tivoli High House, the Pensacola Children’s Museum, T.T. Wentworth, Jr. Florida State Museum or Voices of Pensacola.
