UWF Dr. Grier Williams School of Music presents the Runge Strings Orchestra in concert

The University of West Florida and the Dr. Grier Williams School of Music will present the Runge Strings Orchestra in concert on Tuesday, November 15 at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be held in UWF Rolfs Music Hall at the Center for Fine and Performing Arts on the UWF Pensacola campus.

Following its successful opening of the 2022-2023 season on October 6 at the Holy Cross Episcopal Church, the UWF Runge Strings will present their second concert on Tuesday, November 15 at 7:30pm at the UWF Rolfs Music Hall. The UWF String Quartet and String Trio will perform music by Mozart and Schubert. Conducted from the 1st stand of violins by the Program Director Dr. Leonid Yanovskiy, the Runge Strings orchestra will present music by Handel, Mozart, and Tchaikovsky. The soloist in the beloved Nocturne by Tchaikovsky will be multitalented cellist Brooklynn McCoy, a UWF biology major minoring in music. Brooklynn studies cello with Dr. Aleksandra Pereverzeva, Assistant Director of the Runge Strings.
