UWF Department of Music presents the Pensacola West Percussion Ensemble with special guest Dr. Benjamin Fraley

The University of West Florida Department of Music presents the Pensacola West Percussion Ensemble at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11 in the Mainstage Theatre at the Center for Fine & Performing Arts, Building 82.

The University of West Florida Department of Music presents the Pensacola West Percussion Ensemble at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11 in the Mainstage Theatre at the Center for Fine & Performing Arts, Building 82.

The concert, titled “1…2…3…4…” will feature guest artist Dr. Benjamin Fraley, adjunct instructor of percussion at Troy University, performing Dr. Brian Nozny’s piece “Coin” for multi-percussion solo and percussion ensemble. Other featured works by Ivan Trevino, Joe Tompkins and Mark Ford will showcase the ensemble on a host of percussion instruments. The concert will take the audience on a numerical musical journey.

Dr. Fraley will also present a Frame Drum Clinic at 3 p.m. on April 11 in the Music Hall at the Center for Fine & Performing Arts. For more information on Dr. Fraley, visit www.benjaminfraley.com.
