UWF Communication Arts alumnus recognized with national advertising award
University of West Florida (UWF) alumnus and current UWF staff member, Jarrett Moore, was recognized with a silver Student ADDY® Award at the 2013 American Advertising Federation (AAF) National ADDY® Awards Gala, held on June 8 in Phoenix. This is the first National Student ADDY® Award won by a University of West Florida student.
The Student ADDY® award was presented to Moore for his work on his portfolio piece, Vintage Batman Characters, which was developed in 2012 for a senior graphic design project while he was attending UWF as a Communication Arts student. Jarrett is the only student/professional recognized by AAF National from the Pensacola market for the 2013 ADDY® Awards.
Moore graduated in May 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in advertising and a minor in art. He currently serves as the Marketing & Technology Coordinator for University Commons & Student Activities at UWF where he is responsible for creating advertising for on-campus student events.
The ADDY® Awards represent the true spirit of creative excellence by recognizing all forms of advertising from media of all types, creative by all sizes and entrants of all levels from anywhere in the world.
