UWF College of Business Executive Mentor Program to host guest lecture on employment law
The University of West Florida College of Business Executive Mentor Program will present “Employment Law for Business Students: Latest Trends, Myths and Rookie Mistakes” on Thursday, Nov. 6 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Building 36, Room 191.
During the event, Russell F. Van Sickle, a Florida Bar Board-Certified labor and employment lawyer, will speak to UWF business students about employment laws to better prepare them as they enter the workforce after graduation.
Van Sickle’s practice is focused on representing businesses in complex litigation, including class action and collective action cases, and representing and counseling management in all areas of labor and employment law. He is a member of the Sections on Labor and Employment Law for both the Florida Bar and the American Bar Association, as well as the Florida Academy of Management Attorneys.
