Pensacola Museum of Art to host Halloween SPOOK-tacular
The Pensacola Museum of Art will host its Halloween SPOOK-tacular on Oct. 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. to benefit the Art Academy for Autism, a free program offered to autistic children and adults in the community. Guests will enjoy family-friendly activities, tricks, treats and prize opportunities.
While communication difficulty is a characteristic of autism, art opens doors for individuals to visually express themselves, enhance fine motor skills and develop social relationships. All proceeds from the event will support the Academy.
The event features activities such as an arts and crafts area, photo booth, mystery boxes, and games, as well as a costume contest, which will begin at 5:30 p.m. Drawings will be held for various prizes, including two tickets to the Ballet Pensacola’s performance of “The Nutcracker,” a gift basket from J’s Bakery, an Ever’man’s Grocery gift card, two tickets to the Pensacola Little Theater and more.
Admission is $5 per child, with free admission for adults. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door.
