Dr. Grier Williams School of Music presents Old Christ Church Chamber Music Concert ‘Baroque and Beyond
The University of West Florida Dr. Grier Williams School of Music will present the UWF Chamber Music Series on Wednesday, October 4 at Noon. The concert will be held at Old Christ Church in historic downtown Pensacola.
The UWF Chamber Music Series at Old Christ Church marks the opening of its 17th season. The concert will feature performances by members of the Dr. Grier Williams School of Music programs.
Members of the UWF Chamber Music Class will perform a wide variety of chamber music repertoire, featuring many different instruments and ensembles. They will perform pieces written for piano, harpsichord, saxophone, flute, clarinet, bassoon and cello. The repertoire will also include vocal duets and arias, including compositions by Mozart, Purcell, Saint-Saëns, Tosti, J. Blumenthal and Bizet as well as other favorites.
We welcome music lovers of all ages, including school groups and members of retirement communities.
