WHAT: The University of West Florida will host a grand opening event for Museum Plaza, a UWF Historic Trust preservation and education project that tells the story of Pensacola’s rich history. Museum Plaza will become a staple of downtown Pensacola and a frequented attraction for the community. The event will highlight elements of the community space including Discovery Square, an interactive early learning playground; the Rose Garden Storytelling Circle; and the Linda Evans Memorial Education Pavilion. Funding for the project was provided by the UWF Historic Trust, Quint and Rishy Studer, David and Emily Walby, IMPACT 100 and Fiesta of Five Flags.
