UWF’s Master of Public Health online degree program ranked in the Top 20 for Best Online Master of Public Health Degree Programs

The University of West Florida (UWF) Master of Public Health online degree program was recently ranked in the Top 20 in the United States by TheBestSchools.org’s list of the Best Online Master of Public Health Degree Programs. The university’s program is offered through the School of Allied Health and Life Sciences.

TheBestSchools.org selected the top online Master of Public Health degree programs based on the quality of the program, types of courses offered, faculty, awards, rankings and reputation, including the institution’s reputation for effectively providing online degree programs. Other Florida schools on the list included University of Florida, University of South Florida and Florida International University.

The UWF Master of Public Health program went online in Spring 2006 in order to provide opportunities for people worldwide wishing to work in the public health and allied health fields. The program’s mission is “to empower a generation of public health professionals with skills, knowledge and competencies to contribute creatively and ethically to education, research and service to promote public health and disease prevention.”
