UWF Dr. Grier Williams School of Music presents the Symphonic Band in concert

The University of West Florida Dr. Grier Williams School of Music will present the Symphonic Band in concert on Sunday, October 13, at 2:30 p.m. The concert will be held at the Gulf Breeze Methodist Church.

The University of West Florida Dr. Grier Williams School of Music will present the Symphonic Band in concert on Sunday, October 13, at 2:30 p.m. The concert will be held at the Gulf Breeze Methodist Church.

Under new direction by Dr. Sean Kelley, this performance centers around the idea of ‘flight’ and will feature works from composers such as Davide Delle Cese, Jay Bocook and contemporary classical composer Chris Pilsner. The University of West Florida Symphonic Band is committed to performing the finest wind band and chamber wind ensemble repertoire—both traditional and contemporary. The Symphonic Band is composed of talented musicians from all majors on campus and is dedicated to providing an opportunity for musical growth. 

This performance will not be held at the University of West Florida. This performance will be at 75 Fairpoint Dr., Gulf Breeze, FL, 32561. This event is free and open to the public; no tickets are required.
