UWF Department of Music presents the Runge Strings Orchestra in concert

The University of West Florida Department of Music will present the Runge Strings Orchestra in concert on Thursday, Oct. 4 at 7:30 p.m. The performance will be held in the Music Hall at the Center for Fine and Performing Arts, Building 82, on the Pensacola campus.

In their first performance of the semester, under the baton of Aleksandra Pereverzeva, Dr. Leonid Yanovskiy, violin, will perform with the Runge Strings Orchestra as they present the “Autumn” concerto from Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons.” The program will also include movements from the Mendelssohn “Symphony for Strings in E major” and “Two Elegiac Melodies” by Grieg.
