UWF Department of Music presents the Percussion Ensemble in concert
The UWF Department of Music presents the Percussion Ensemble on Monday, Oct. 29 at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be held in the Mainstage Theatre of the Center for Fine & Performing Arts, Building 82, on the Pensacola campus.
The program, titled “Mostly Mallets,” will feature works by Blake Tyson, Bob Becker, Emmanuel Séjourné and others. Jonathon Swain, senior, will be featured as xylophone soloist for “Dill Pickles” and Mrs. Laura Noah as percussion soloist for Bob Becker’s “Mudra.” The concert will showcase a variety of pieces for keyboard percussion by exploring different styles and sounds.
