The Art Gallery at the University of West Florida presents “Roll-Call: The 2023 Art and Design Faculty Exhibition” from Oct. 19 through Dec. 8. An opening reception will be held at TAG on Thursday, Oct. 19 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Artwork will be on display at TAG, located in the Center for Fine and Performing Arts, Building 82, on the Pensacola campus.

The University of West Florida Art Gallery is pleased to present Roll Call: the 2023 Art and Design Faculty Exhibition. For this biennial show, instructors in the department have utilized the gallery as a pedagogical springboard to exhibit recent research and artwork. Drawings, paintings, photography, sculpture, ceramics, graphic design, digital art and site-specific installations are on display. This exhibition plays a crucial role in the experience of visual culture for students, staff, faculty and the greater Northwest Florida community. It accomplishes this goal by showcasing engaging concepts and ideas from nationally recognized artists who communicate their passion and commitment to the arts through innovative teaching and studio practice.

TAG is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. All events are free and open to the public.

The Art Gallery at the University of West Florida seeks to challenge, stimulate and engage students and the greater public through direct interaction with works of contemporary art.
