National Flight Academy & University of West Florida Partners in STEM Education

A new benefit was announced today for 11^th and 12^th graders who attend the NFA’s Ambition program. They can now earn up to three college credit hours in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) through the new partnership with UWF.

Both the NFA and UWF bring exceptional skills to the table that, when combined, form the one-of-a-kind Ambition program for 7^th -12^th graders and the new Professional Development program that provides the same high impact, engaging experiences for adults seeking to improve their workplace skills.  It all starts with an immersive, aviation-based story. The NFA team works in unison with the UWF team to weave in STEM learning objectives with other important 21^st century skills including critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork and communication.  It all leads to an unparalled learning experience for our current and future leaders.
