Dr. Grier Williams School of Music presents the Runge Strings Orchestra in concert

The University of West Florida Dr. Grier Williams School of Music will present the Runge Strings Orchestra in concert on Tuesday, November 14 at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be held in UWF Rolfs Music Hall at the Center for Fine and Performing Arts on the UWF Pensacola campus.

The featured piece for this performance will be Antonio Vivaldi’s Double Concerto in A minor, RV 522. This masterpiece showcases the brilliance of Vivaldi’s repertoire for solo instrument and orchestra.  

Additionally, the performance will include pieces by William Grant Still, the Dean of African-American Composers, who made history as the first black composer featured by a professional orchestra. The performance will also showcase works by Joseph Haydn and more. This event is free and open to the public but tickets are required.
