Renowned as an “exceptional young artist” by the New Yorker and as a “major talent” by the Sarasota Herald-Tribune since making his orchestral debut at age 14, Matthew Graybil has gained an international reputation as a talented piano recitalist, concerto soloist and chamber musician throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Europe. Graybil’s solo career features performances in major music capitals of the world including Mexico City, New York, Paris and Toronto, in venues such as Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall, Verizon Hall at the Kimmel Center, the Lincoln Center and more. Having studied music since age 6, earning his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The Juilliard School, Graybil’s career highlights works from the 20th and 21st centuries, reflected in his first solo album in which he “becomes so at one with the music that the line between performer and composer vanishes” marking him as “one of the most sensitive, poetic young pianists to debut on record in recent memory,” according to Fanfare Magazine.

The Dr. Grier Williams School of Music would like to thank the Kamerman Family and Jeannie Kamerman for their support of this and future Kamerman Piano Series events at UWF. Established in 2013, the Kamerman Piano Series connects Northwest Florida audiences with international pianists. This event is open to the public, but tickets are required.
