UWF Notice: Monitoring Severe Weather

University officials are closely monitoring the severe weather that is forecast for tomorrow, Tuesday, April 5 in Northwest Florida. All University of West Florida locations remain open at this time. If conditions change, the University will update the campus community. Potential threats include winds up to 70 mph, fast moving tornadoes and large hail. Please use your best judgement in regards to traveling to classes and events through tomorrow.

As local school districts close tomorrow for the severe weather, the University understands this may affect employees and students with children in school. If you are impacted by a local school closure, please contact your supervisor or instructor.
