UWF Notice: Monitoring Severe Weather
University officials are closely monitoring the severe weather potential that is forecast for tonight, June 14 through the morning of Thursday, June 15 in Northwest Florida. All University of West Florida locations remain open at this time. If conditions change, the University will update the campus community.
University officials are closely monitoring the severe weather potential that is forecast for tonight, June 14 through the morning of Thursday, June 15 in Northwest Florida. All University of West Florida locations remain open at this time. If conditions change, the University will update the campus community.
The upcoming severe weather has the potential for strong storms with damaging winds up to 80 mph, tornadoes and hail. Heavy rainfall is possible, with potential flash flooding. The Northwest Florida area is projected to see the greatest impact between 9 p.m. tonight through 4 a.m. Thursday, June 15. Please use your best judgment in regard to traveling during severe weather.
