UWF Notice: Coronavirus: New Test Site to Open on Campus for Escambia and Santa Rosa County Residents

At the request of the Governor’s office, the direction of the Florida Department of Emergency Management with the support of the Florida Department of Health, Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties will open a new mobile testing site to the public on Saturday, May 2 at the University of West Florida. The drive-through test site will be open for two weeks from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

At the request of the Governor’s office, the direction of the Florida Department of Emergency Management with the support of the Florida Department of Health, Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties will open a new mobile testing site to the public on Saturday, May 2 at the University of West Florida. The drive-through test site will be open for two weeks from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. 

The drive-through test site will be located at the SP2 parking lot, which is on the east side of campus, near the East Sports Complex. It is important that individuals remain in their vehicles. Pre-screening is not required. The National Guard will be on-site to assist. Friday, May 1 will be a dry run open. 

UWF faculty, staff and students are invited to get tested during the dry run taking place this Friday, May 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
