UWF Dr. Grier Williams School of Music presents Old Christ Church Chamber Music Concert

The University of West Florida Dr. Grier Williams School of Music will present the UWF Chamber Music class in concert on Wednesday, April 6 at noon. The concert will be held at Old Christ Church in historic downtown Pensacola.

UWF's Chamber music class performed the public concert "Music Heals the Soul", directed by Dr. Hedi Salanki, at the Center for Fine and Performing Arts on Oct. 6, 2020. This was the first concert since the COVID-19 pandemic and was open to a limited audience.

The UWF Chamber Music Series at Old Christ Church is closing its 15th season with a wide variety of chamber music repertoire. Under the direction of Dr. Hedi Salanki, the UWF Chamber Music Class will perform well-known musical theater songs, opera arias and vocal duets of Bach, Fanny Mendelssohn, Brahms, Purcell, Mozart, Graun, Chopin, Lakme and others. The concert will feature a wide variety of instruments, including, piano, harpsichord, viola, flute, trumpet and voice.
