UWF announces 2023 Women in Leadership conference date and keynote speakers

The University of West Florida College of Business Executive Mentor Program will host the ninth annual Women in Leadership Conference on March 30, 2023, at the UWF Conference Center on the University’s Pensacola campus. The conference will also be offered virtually.

The conference will provide opportunities to hear from and connect with prominent women leaders who have achieved both personal and professional success.

Speakers from across the state will share their leadership stories. The keynote speakers will be Siri Lindley, world champion triathlete, high-performance coach and motivational speaker, and Dr. Fran P. Mainella, former U.S. National Park Service director who made history as the first female to serve in that position. The conference will also include a military panel composed of retired U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Leslie Maher; retired U.S. Coast Guard Vice Adm. Sandy Stosz; retired U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Ann Burkhardt; and U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Col. Nicole Bastain. The military panel will share lessons they learned in a traditionally male-dominated arena.

Young professionals will learn how to unlock their personal and professional leadership potential and create a blueprint for success in business and the community. Seasoned professionals will leverage unique strengths to thrive and succeed in current and future leadership roles.

The 2023 Women in Leadership Conference will be held from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., with check-in from 8 – 9 a.m. In-person tickets are sold out, but virtual tickets are available for purchase with a standard rate of $70. Discounted rates are available for students, alumni and ticket packages.
