Healthier Argo Nation: Following UWF COVID-19 Guidelines and Protocols
The health and safety on our campus is a shared responsibility for all involved. UWF strives to provide a healthy, safe and vibrant educational environment that honors its unique culture while remaining responsive to the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic.
We recognize the importance of getting vaccinated for COVID-19 if and when you are able to. According to the Centers for Disease Control, even after you are vaccinated it is important to continue taking steps to protect yourself and others from COVID-19.
UWF COVID-19 guidelines and protocol remain in effect for all employees and students, regardless if you have been vaccinated. All employees and students must do the following:
- Complete the Daily COVID-19 Pre-screening – Employees must complete the daily pre-screening every working day regardless of remote or on-site, prior to visiting campus. Students must complete the pre-screening on a daily basis prior to visiting campus or leaving their residence hall room.
- Wear a face covering – A disposable or cloth face covering is required in all shared indoor spaces, as well as outdoor areas where social distancing is not possible.
- Maintain social distance – Stay at least 6 feet (about 2 arms’ length) from other people, do not gather in groups and stay out of crowded places and avoid mass gatherings.
We will update the campus community when guidance changes for those that have been vaccinated.
