Winter Weather Notice – Jan. 16, 2024

University officials are closely monitoring a hard freeze warning and wind chill advisory that will be in effect tonight through tomorrow morning in Northwest Florida. All University of West Florida locations remain open at this time. If conditions change, the University will update the campus community. Students, faculty and staff are advised to use their best judgment when traveling during freezing weather conditions.

As the Escambia County K-12 school district is closed tomorrow for the winter weather, the University understands this may affect employees and students with children in school. If you are impacted by a local school closure, please contact your supervisor or instructor.
