UWF Football a hotbed for Florida talent

Did you know? The National Championship UWF Football team tops the other 12 NCAA football programs in Florida in numbers of state players.

"Pensacola x Arete" is a series of photos that connects UWF's Football team with the town the team calls home: Pensacola. As the first settlement in America, Pensacola is ripe with culture, history, and an environment you can't find anywhere else in the Sunshine State. This photo seires highlights several historical, cultural, and military landmarks around Pensacola.

In 2019, UWF had a total of 105 players from high schools across Florida.

UWF has taken advantage of local high school talent and allow players to exceed at the next level.
