Media invited to attend National Cybersecurity Workforce Development Program ‘CyberSkills2Work’ Program Showcase

WHAT: Key highlights of CyberSkills2Work, led by the University of West Florida’s Center for Cybersecurity, will be shared at Florida International University in Washington, D.C. Media are invited to learn how the program, funded by a $9 million, three-year National Security Agency National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity grant, is filling cybersecurity roles in critical infrastructure sectors including defense, industrial base, energy and financial services.

Keynote remarks will be made by Lynne Clark, NSA Center for Education, innovation and outreach chief, and Mark Montgomery, Cyberspace Solarium Commission executive director. Perspectives from program graduates, employers, and partners, and a networking reception are also scheduled.
