UWF to host groundbreaking for new research building

WHAT: The University of West Florida will host a ceremony to officially break ground on a new advanced intelligence, cybersecurity and engineering research building called The Synapse.

WHAT: The University of West Florida will host a ceremony to officially break ground on a new advanced intelligence, cybersecurity and engineering research building called The Synapse. Funded from a Triumph Gulf Coast award and state funding, the 55,000-square-foot building on the Pensacola campus will house specialized labs and state-of-the-art equipment and technology to support advanced computational, AI, cybersecurity and engineering research across the University. 

UWF President Manny Diaz Jr., Provost Dr. Jaromy Kuhl and others will be giving remarks during the ceremony.
