UWF Provost appoints Interim Deans
Today, Provost Martha Saunders announced the appointment of interim deans to fill the positions recently vacated in the College of Business and College of Arts & Sciences. Effective August 8, 2013, the following individuals will serve as interim deans:
College of Business: Dr. Tim O’Keefe
College of Arts & Sciences: Dr. Mike Huggins
“Tim and Mike are proven university leaders with a record of excellent contributions and service to their colleges and to the University,” said Saunders. “Along with Stacie Whinnery, Interim Dean for the College of Professional Studies, they will provide leadership during the college restructuring dialogues scheduled for this fall.”
Huggins currently serves as Chair of the Department of Chemistry. O’Keefe serves as Associate Dean and Director of Graduate Programs within the College of Business.
Dr. Ed Ranelli, Dean of the College of Business and Dr. Jane Halonen, Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences, recently stepped down and will remain with the university in faculty positions.
