UWF to welcome first-year students at Move-In Day, Convocation

WHAT: Media are invited to join President Judy Bense and University officials as they welcome new students to the University of West Florida on Friday, August 22. University administration, including Bense, will be visiting the residence halls from 9 to 11 a.m. while students move in.

Media are invited to join President Judy Bense and University officials as they welcome new students to the University of West Florida on Friday, August 22. University administration, including Bense, will be visiting the residence halls from 9 to 11 a.m. while students move in.

Fall 2014 Convocation will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the UWF Field House. Convocation marks the official beginning of a new academic year and serves to welcome first-year students to the UWF community. The President, vice presidents, deans, faculty and staff join with student leaders to introduce the newest Argonauts to the institution’s mission and the expectations to which they will be held during their collegiate career at UWF.

Move-In Day: 9 a.m.

Convocation: 3:30 p.m.

Move-In Day: Martin, Heritage, Presidents, Pace and Argo Halls
