The Art Gallery at the University of West Florida will present “ReSource,” a faculty exhibition, from Oct. 19 through Nov. 18. A reception will take place on from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19. TAG is located in the Center for Fine and Performing Arts, Building 82.

In addition to the display of their original work, this year’s faculty exhibition builds upon the familiar concept of an “artist’s collection exhibition.” Perspective will be added to the artist’s work through the inclusion of source material, research, collected items used as reference or for study, physical subject matter/material used in production, sketches, and/or any resource that inspires the creative process.

TAG is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. All events are free and open to the public. For more information, visit uwf.edu/tag, or contact Nick Croghan, TAG UWF gallery director, at artgallery@uwf.edu or 850.474.2696.

The Art Gallery at the University of West Florida seeks to challenge, stimulate and engage students and the greater public through direct interaction with works of contemporary art.
