Historic Pensacola earns 2017 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence

The University of West Florida announced Historic Pensacola has received a 2017 TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence. This annual recognition celebrates hospitality businesses that have earned great traveller reviews on TripAdvisor.

The Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality, quantity and frequency of reviews submitted by travelers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. “Our team strives to provide every visitor with an excellent guest experience. We are pleased that feedback shared by our visitors confirms our commitment to customer service, quality exhibits and engaging programs,” said Robert Overton Jr., executive director of the UWF Historic Trust.

“TripAdvisor is excited to announce the recipients of the 2017 Certificate of Excellence, which celebrates hospitality businesses that have consistently received strong praise and ratings from travelers,” said Heather Leisman, TripAdvisor vice president of industry marketing. “This recognition allows us to publicly honor businesses that are actively engaging with customers and using feedback to help travelers identify and confidently book the perfect trip.”

Historic Pensacola, nestled within the footprints of the original Spanish and British forts, shares the stories of Pensacola’s rich heritage through museum exhibits, tours and engaging period-dressed living history interpreters. For more information, visit www.historicpensacola.org.
