Buildings without water after water main break

Tuesday, Nov. 8, 4 p.m. The water pressure is now restored to the effected buildings; however, the boil water notice remains in effect. Water used for cooking or drinking should be boiled for at least one minute prior to use.

Tuesday, Nov. 8, 11:45 a.m. A boil water advisory has been issued by UWF Environmental Health and Safety for the buildings affected by the water main break today. Water used for cooking or drinking should be boiled for at least one minute prior to use.

Tuesday, Nov. 8, 11:15 a.m. Several buildings on the main Pensacola campus will be without water due to a water main break behind Building 19 today. Crews are working to repair the problem, but numerous buildings are without water in sinks and restrooms, including:

· Building 10 (Crosby Hall)
· Building 12 (Alumni Relations, Foundation, Marketing, Communications)
· Building 18 (Hopkins Hall)
· Building 19 (Career Services and University Police)
· Building 21 (Student Services complex)
· Building 22 (University Commons)
· Building 32 (Library)
· Buildings 33, 34 and 35 (Residence Halls)
· Building 36
· Building 37

There are currently no safety alerts, but officials believe water will not be restored until at least 5 p.m. Tuesday.
